This final degree student feature film was Directed by Jordan-Kane Lewis in early 2020. The narrative is non-linear with the shoot lasting over 28 days, has a run time of 60+ minutes. The screenplay was written by Jordan-Kane with co-writer Lucy Ingram with production commencing shortly after the 4th draft.
We shot primarily around Sheffield, Dronfield and Chesterfield at a variety of locations including Ladybower Reservoir, Sheffield Train station and many more.
All but a few effects seen in the film where practical using pyrotechnics as well as squibs with CGI and visual effects only used to enhance a scene.
We shot over 28 day period in January, with a small crew, most days with only 4 to 5 team members on set at any given time.
Director/film-maker Jordan-Kane Lewis, founder of Studio Silent was born on the 18th of December 1998 in Nuneaton, Northern Warwickshire, England.
His family moved a lot when he was younger, mainly around Sheffield where he spent a few years living in a pub before his family settled in a town called Dronfield. This is where he spent the rest of his youth growing up and finding his love for films through homemade shorts. Jordan-Kane attended Dronfield Henry Fanshawe where he began his study of film at the age of 12 before going off to college and then university to continue with his study of film.
